Aaron Blom, DO, MBA, CWSP, FACCWS, is a general surgeon by training. He is a Senior Lead Physician with Vohra Wound Physicians. He is Board Certified as a Certified Wound Specialist Physician and is a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists. He completed his training at the University of Pennsylvania Health System where he was named a Chief Resident in Surgery. Dr. Blom has over 100 peer reviewed publications and has received numerous awards throughout his career including prestigious research awards from the National Institutes of Health. His practice now focuses exclusively on wound care in the long-term care setting where he sees over 10,000 wound care encounters annually. He regularly teaches wound care to residents from multiple health systems in Central Pennsylvania.
