Patricia Abele, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner for the St. Louis University, Division of Geriatric Medicine, practicing predominantly in LTC facilities and geriatric clinics. She received both her undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees at the University of Missouri, Sinclair School of Nursing. She also works with the Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) which is a HRSA funded initiative to improve the health of older Missourians by training health care providers of multiple disciplines in rapid geriatric assessment.
