Robert Reynolds, MD, is an Internist who began office based practice in 1983, which included providing Hospital and Skilled/Long Term Care for his patients. He served as Medical Director for three Skilled Facilities, and first joined AMDA in 1989. In the mid-nineties, he left private practice to start PrimeDoc, an early multi-state Hospitalist staffing and management company. In 2000, he helped form Extended Care Physicians (ECP), a multi-state Skilled/Long Term Care staffing and practice management company. In 2009, he was involved in the formation of, and became the Facilitator for the Vision Group, a think tank composed of leaders of national organizations involved in PA/LTC practice management. Dr. Reynolds is currently employed by TeamHealth, as the National Vice President for Post Acute Services, assisting with the management of over 900 PA/LTC Physicians and APCs. He serves as Chair of the AMDA Practice Management Section.
