Swati Gaur, MD, MBA, CMD, is Vice President of Medical Affairs at Community Health Services of Georgia, a post-acute care company. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and Hospice and Palliative Care. She also serves as medical director of Nursing Facilities with Northeast Georgia Health System. Dr. Gaur serves on the Infection advisory Committee of which she is the vice chair. She also serves on AGS Health System Innovation Economics and Technology Committee, Georgia Antimicrobial Stewardship Subcommittee and GA POLST. She has spearheaded the antimicrobial stewardship program in post-acute care in the health system. Her area of interest is increasing care efficiency for older adults by creating and implementing standard protocols for infections and other conditions in long term care settings.
